We put together this page of Chinese dramas to watch at first for our own sakes, because we realized that there’s no sticky resource on the topic in English.
So here, we made our tables of upcoming Chinese dramas public in case it helps anyone else. We do our best to update this page weekly, so that everything’s as timely as possible. We also very unfortunately do not have all the time in the world to watch Chinese dramas, so we only cover bigger/more relevant dramas in the tables below. These are the Chinese dramas that are airing right now, as we speak. We added a column on whether or not you can watch these Chinese dramas on Netflix, YouTube, or Viki (specific to the US region).
Chinese Dramas: Soon Airing
There’s no other way to put it: Chinese broadcast networks are kind of bad at announcing dramas and deciding release dates for them! Because they notoriously change air dates with short notice and drop dramas with little warning, we tried to wrangle it all together in this table, where we collect the rumblings and rumors on when exactly a drama will air. You can probably expect all of the shows below to have a release date that’s 60-80% on the way to being firmly set in stone.

Of course, there’s also always a huge backlog of dramas that are about to be filmed, in the process of filming, or in post-production.
Here are dramas that are currently in the production process. Unless they die in development hell (or are blacklisted), you can probably expect to see them on your screen within a year or so.
