By chance, Wen Yifan ended up becoming roommates with Sang Yan, an old high school classmate who she’d once rejected.

The two of them minded their own business, like two strangers who just happened to live under the same roof.

But this peaceful existence ended one night.

Wen Yifan learned from Sang Yan himself that she’d recently been sleepwalking. Embarrassed, she didn’t really didn’t know how to react and said, “Last night must have been the first time you caught me sleepwalking, right?”

Sang Yan casually said, “There was one other time.”

Wen Yifan fell silent for two seconds, before she hesitatingly asked, “What did I do?”

“You ran up to me and hugged me out of nowhere.”

“What?”

Sang Yan raised an eyebrow, then leisurely added—

“And then you kissed me.”

竹已 (Zhu Yi) also wrote the source material for When I Fly Towards You (Zhou Yiran, Zhang Miaoyi) and The Best of You in My Mind (Zhang Yao, Song Yiren). 

The director, 瞿友寧 (Qu Youning), also directed It Started With A Kiss. 

The production company, 哇唧唧哇娱乐 (Wajijiwa Entertainment), produces the popular music variety show, The Coming One.

Filming started in February 2024 and ended June 2024.
